Website Inspiration

My inspiration behind my own TV channel is based off TV channels such as Fox TV, SKY Atlantic, E4 and Watch.

Fox TV is my top inspiration because it features all of the shows that I would consider for my show such as True Blood, The Walking Dead and Gotham. The screen grab underneath shows Fox TV's website, this is how I would like to set out my website. They use red and black as there house style which I think works well with the genre as the colours represent dark and danger.

This is how I'd like for my website to be produced. I like the house style of the website and that its incorporated into the the colour scheme, I plan on involving my own dark green and black house style into mine. Fox TV UK's website is very simple to navigate around and very clean to look at.

I plan on adding my Radioactive logo to the left hand on the navigation bar on my website to make it clear to the audience that they're on the correct site. Placing my logo here will stand out and be a the vocal point of the website, it will also make the foundation of my house style.

On the navigation bar on my website I plan on having Home, Shows, Schedule, News and Competitions. These are the 5 basic pages expected of a TV channel website.

Most TV channel websites include a picture of the TV show that they will be supporting just like Fox TV have. I plan on adding TV shows to the Home page of my website too. I think this is important because not only does it advertise the TV show but most likely the main reason people will check TV channel websites it to find more information about the show.
