After doing some research on the most popular TV shows currently, I found on a website such as www.tv.com what the most liked TV shows were.
As you can see a few fantasy genre shows were featured in this list such as Game of Thrones, Arrow, The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and Once Upon A Time. This lead me onto looking at the most popular fantasy TV shows about currently and I found:
This shows that fantasy genre shows are quite popular to the public and as these type of shows are on the rise I think that making a TV channel that is dedicated to the fantasy/supernatural genre would be very wise and what people would want. These popularity lists show that my TV channel would fit very well and be watched widely.
This leads on to TV shows that I would personally like for my TV channel to feature which would be:
Game Of Thrones
True Blood
The Vampire Diaries
Supernatural
The Walking Dead and so on.
I would even like to feature TV shows such as Doctor Who, Once Upon A Time and Arrow as I would like my TV channel to cover a wider audience for UK to give them a taste of an American style TV channel.
