While researching animation idents I have looked at channels such as Syfy, Channel 4, BBC ONE and so on to get inspiration for my ident. I have found that idents consist of a short clip basing between 10 seconds to a maximum of 30 seconds long depending on the ident to represent the channel.
Ident's consist of a very short video clips of an animated sequence to show give the audience a preview of the channel they are watching and to advertise that channel. Because my genre of my channel will be fantasy I've decided that my ident won't be so realistic like a few of the idents shown above, I plan on making mine more simple of the Radioactive logo like the ident below but make it more fitting to my genre.
