Radioactive Logo

For my Radioactive TV channel I surveyed 20 people on the below logo's to see which one would suit a fantasy theme genre channel.

 13 people picked this logo as their favourite. This one I prefer out of all three because the font features bold sharp edges and reminds me of supernatural creatures such as vampires and werewolves.

7 people chose this logo out of the two. The coloring of the logo was commented on a lot saying that it fitted in with my channel and that it gave off a dangerous and radioactive feel with the misty green radiating from the font.

For my channel I plan to use the first logo, I wanted to keep the logo simple like the ones I had researched on other channels, I chose to go for simple because my channel will have a lot of green and black on the page so I didn't want to make it too busy and easy to understand and navigate.

I used Photoshop to add a green glow around my logo, this gave it an eye popping look. Green and black is my house style colours, so I wanted to incorporate this into my logo.

 

I added this logo to my website. I felt like the glow around the logo worked really and had an effective contrast against the dark background. It also matched the glowing menu at the top.
